- Confirm measured, expected and peak IT electrical demand.
- Define facility and energy measurement boundaries.
- Obtain utility connection voltage and available fault information.
- Document failure modes and the loads that must remain served.
- Evaluate UPS, generator, motor-start and load-step behavior separately.
- Check equipment ratings, environmental duty and maintenance access.
- Have a qualified engineer review protection and applicable requirements.
